GOAL: Your goal for this project is to create and curate a series of successful images that document or "bear witness" to something in your life: consider what kinds of locations, people, or viewpoints you have access to in your own life.
You will write a proposal towards your project in class. Once you receive approval on your proposal, you may begin shooting.
Consider what impact this project could have. Can you use your camera and images to give a voice to others? Can you use your camera to facilitate empathy by helping others understand another culture or way of life? Or do you simply want your photographs to serve as visual record of a place, time period, group of people, etc?
