For your second project, you will be making photographs with your cell phone camera and using the VSCO platform to process and upload your images for viewing. You will only use either the standard camera app that comes with your phone and/or the VSCO app for this project.
You will pick a topic in class today to pursue this weekend as you make images. Write a short proposal for your chosen topic on your student website blog. Label the post Project II: VSCO Proposal. Be sure to list at least 1 photographer you are looking at for inspiration, and include at least 2 images by that photographer in your blog post.
Your available topics are:
Portraiture
Landscape
Still Life
Documentary
Your goal is to create successful, considered, and well composed images using your cell phone. Remember to utilize the elements of design when creating a successful composition.
Other tips:
Pay attention to the edges of the frame
Pay attention to what is in the background
ALWAYS consider the quality of LIGHT you are photographing in!
DUE Monday, 9/18/17:
