Digital Art: Quarter 2 Extra Credit Opportunity

Create Your Own "Multiple Selves" Composite

This quarter, you may earn up to 5 extra credit points on your final project by creating your own "multiple selves" composite in Photoshop.
  1. Create a composite that consists of at least 3 reoccurring figures. The final composite must be made up of at least 3 separate images. The images you use must be your own photographs created specifically for this composite, so no photographs from before December 2017!
  2. Save your final composited image as a TIFF file in Photoshop. Label it lastname_firstname_composite_extra_credit.
  3. EMAIL this TIFF file to me at h.cooper@tmi-sa.org
  4. In order to receive credit, your file MUST be labeled and emailed correctly. Make sure that your composite masks are clean!
  5. In order to receive credit, you must email this to me by NOON on READING DAY (Monday, 12/11/17).

Digital Art: Quarter 1 Extra Credit Opportunity

Submit Photographs for TMI Annual Report

Submit your campus photographs for consideration to be published as the cover image for TMI publications.

  •   Artwork should be in the vertical (portrait) orientation, not horizontal; must have space at the top suitable for title and issue date type. (Example: The tops of trees or sky rather than the top of someone's head.)
  •  Any art materials/techniques are eligible; subject matter must be TMI-related. (Examples: campus scenes, TMI students in sports uniforms playing an away game or in spirit shirts at a community service project).

To submit your images for credit, email me your edited TIFF files at h.cooper@tmi-sa.org by Friday, 10/20/17.

You will receive 1 point of extra credit for each image submitted. Submit up to 5 images for 5 points total.

Your images must meet the criteria above, and must be processed in Photoshop and saved as TIFF files. No JPEGS will be considered—shoot your images in RAW format.
