CREATING A METADATA TEMPLATE IN ADOBE BRIDGE
Metadata is information that is built right into your file, keeping track of important info from your camera as well as you. It is a crucial way of protecting the ownership of your images, so learn it, live it, love it.
First, I recommend making a metadata template for yourself right away. This will save you from having to fill in the same information again and again. Make sure Adobe Bridge is open. Then, select TOOLS and CREATE METADATA TEMPLATE.

Check the boxes beside the information you want to add to your template and then give your template the name Digital Art. Next, check and fill in the fields in the IPTC core area. You don’t have to use all the fields, but I recommend the following at the very least:
Creator: You
City and State and Country
Email
Website (if available)

Next, you can apply that template to any file by selecting it in Bridge and choosing TOOLS > REPLACE METADATA > and then select your template name.
* If you want to do so to all the images in a folder, press cmd+a to select all the images, or EDIT > SELECT ALL and then replace the metadata again.

You can fill in any other fields you want to selected images by typing directly in the metadata panel in the main Bridge interface.
* Also, now that you have a template, you can apply it to images as they are uploaded using the FILE > GET PHOTOS FROM CAMERA… method. Just look to the bottom right corner of that window and select your template.
