The image above is of a man looking at a football field. He's wearing an ankle monitor. The colors in the photo are green, black and red. The photo was shot in natural lighting. There is a man in the photo who's not showing his face and a field goal in the background.
I think the image is a bit underexposed but it could be because its later in the day. The only focused part of the image is the man. The image is in adequate resolution. The subject doesn't fill the frame because there is extra space in the background. The frame seems to crop off the rest of the football field.
I don't know if theres a story being told in the photo. The artist maybe made this image because he played football in high school. It has a nostalgic vibe to it. This image reminds me of all the football games I've been to with my friends. I find the image interesting.
I like this image. I like it because its gloomy. I'm pretty sure theres a deeper meaning to the photo but I can't decipher it. Maybe the man got kicked out of football because of a drug problem, hence the ankle monitor. So maybe he's visiting the field to see what he's missing out on.
This photo is of a boy looking at a football field. He seems to be wearing an ankle monitor. He's wearing athletic clothing. He's wearing all black, whereas the background has color that captures the viewer's eye. The lighting is natural lighting. There is no pixelation in this photo.
The image is underexposed. The focus is on the boy turning away from the camera. The photo is pleasing to look at because it has a sense of simplicity to it. The photographer was at the same point of view as the person they were taking a photo of. The focal point (the boy) doesn't take up the whole screen.
The theme of this photo is of a boy struggling with with life and he's looking back on his life or what he's done. I believe that there is a story being told in this image. I believe that the artist decided to compose this because it reminds young teenagers to not make dumb decisions. This reminds me of when I come back from practice in my slides. This image is noteworthy.
I like this photo. I think that this piece of artwork is pleasing to look at because it shows how a young boy is struggling with his life, and I think that that's noteworthy. This photograph is successful because it reminds teenagers of the consequences of their actions. This photo is truly inspiring. The photographer did a good job in teaching a lesson to teenagers.
The image is of a boy who was probably walking on a track. It looks like he has an ankle monitor, so the track that he's not might be surrounded by a jail. It's using dark colors to represent the dark mood of the photograph. The lighting used is natural sunlight. The objects are the boy, the track, and the field goal. Another object that pops out to me is the ankle monitor around the boy's ankle.
The boy in the image has stopped on a track and is looking behind him at the field goal. The image is underexpose. The boy in the image is in focus. The color is correct because the boy's white socks do look white. There is no pixelation there there is an adequate resolution in the image.
The composition functions as a pretty dark photo. It's not really pleasing to look at because of the fact that the colors make it look depressing. The angle that the photographer uses to take the photo is in front of the boy. The subject doesn't fill the frame because you can see the track and field surrounding the boy. The frame crops off the rest of the track and field.
The theme of the the image is a metaphor for looking back on your mistakes and regretting them. The story being told is maybe about a boy who got arrested and couldn't fulfill his dream of being a pro football player. The artist made this photo to remind teenagers that the mistakes they make right now can affect their lives forever. This image doesn't remind me of anything. I don't really like this photo because it make me sad for the boy who could've possibly gotten his dreams crushed.
This image is of a man who is sitting out of football because he has an ankle monitor. The photo is using a very quick shutter speed. The lighting around the photo is mainly caused by daylight. He is wearing an all black outfit to show a upset mood. Different objects in the image are the boy, the goalpost in the background, and the football field.
The image has just enough of light. The image is in focus of the boy who has an ankle monitor. In the background, the goalpost is a blur. The goalpost is the only thing that has some pixelation. All of the colors look correct.
The theme of this image is a boy who wants to play football but he is under arrest, so he can't play. The artist is proving that if you're not responsible for your actions, it will bite you. This reminds me of my friend who was placed on house arrest from his dad. The image is very sad to look at. The author wanted to show a boy who wanted to play football having his dreams shut down from the actions he made.
Overall I found the image a good image, but a sad story. This photograph is successful because it is teaching young men lessons on their actions.
This photograph shows a boy dressed in all black looking away from us to a football field. The subject looks very athletic, but is also wearing a house arrest anklet. All the colors in this image are very dark and gloomy. The lighting also seems very gray even though we can tell it was taken when the sun is out.
The image somewhat dark but the light green color of the field livens it up. The only thing in focus is the boy, the background is slightly blurry which might explain that this teenager has a bad or "blurry" past. The photograph is perfectly exposed and very clear. There isn't any pixelation in the photograph.
This photo isn't particularly appealing to look at because of the dark colors and burry back ground. Another reason the photo isn't appealing is because the rule of thirds isn't being used, the main subject is directly in the middle. I believe the photographer took the picture from and angle where we can not see the boy's face. This leads us to be intrigued. This photograph has a shallow depth of field because the only thing in focus is the teenager.
I believe this image's main idea is wanting something you can not have or have had taken away. This boy wants to play the game of football but cannot because of something illegal he has done. This is why he has the house arrest anklet. This photo is definitely noteworthy because it teaches us we cannot take the things we love for granted. Personally, I like this photo because it speaks to my generation and shows us what will happen if we make a major mistake.
In the photograph, there I an athletic looking teenage boy with black clothes and athletic sandals. It appears to have something of a house arrest anklet on his right leg. He standing on the outside of an abandoned looking football field and looking back upon it. It seems to be a cloudy and some what gloomy day, without much bright sunlight. This might be a representation of the mood associated with the photo.
The photograph has a very shallow depth of field, focusing the eyes directly onto the boy. The colors are mostly earthy tones, and there isn't anything vibrant that draws attention to itself. The photo seems adequately exposed portraying the colors true to reality. The photo seems to be a little cooler toned, also adding to the effect of gloominess that it might have on the photo. The colors are correctly shown with the whites of his socks being very bright.
Judging from the house arrest anklet, I would like to think that the boy got in trouble with the law somehow. This probably jeopardized his career in football. The boy looks back at the football field longingly and defeated in his simple clothes. Also, the football field seems a little unattended which shows time passing by. This might be a representations of the boy's dreams being abandoned. They were all but dashed by the mistake that we wears on his ankle.
Personally, I enjoy this photograph because I was able to create a story from it. Whether this was the intended story that the photographer wanted to portray, I appreciate that it made me think. I allowed my imagination to take over from the minimalistic details and simplicity in the subject. Also, the way the photograph was shot is appealing to me. I enjoy how focused the subject is in contrast to his surrounds without overly being too much and distracting.
This photograph shows us a young male athlete looking at a football field. This young man is wearing all black clothes with white socks and sandals. He is also wearing house-arrest anklet. The scene around him is gloomy and somewhat dark. The colors Murff is using are morose and dark, not signifying any happiness or joy. The lighting like the colors shown are not vibrant. In this picture the young boy is looking upon what he wants to do and what he could have had.
The photograph is perfectly exposed and but still portrays a gloomy feel with the dark colors. The only object in focus is the young man, explaining to us that the rest of his life might be blurry and not clear. The color is correct because each color differentiates from the others. There is no pixilation shown in this picture. However, there is blur shown in the background.
The composition of the photo is pleasing to look at due to the contrasting colors. The rule of thirds is not being used because the focal point (the young man) is in the center of the picture. The depth of field is very shallow and we understand this from the blur behind the subject. The focal point is the young man and he is not framed by anything. The lines direct our eyes to and from the boy. The image crops off the rest of the football field.
The story being told in this image is a sad one. It tells us that the bad choices made by this boy are affecting what this boy can and can not do (play football). The artist made this image to explain a moral; your choices affect your life and how it can be lived. This image is sad because it depicts a loss of something the young man loves. I like this photo because of the story and moral is shows through the colors and depth of field in this picture.
This image shows a teenage boy looking over his shoulder to look at a field goal behind him. He is in casual, common clothes for a teenager, and he appears to have a tracker around his ankle. The colors in this photo are pretty dull. Nothing really grabs the eye because of its vibrant color or unique pattern. The lighting is one that you’d expect on a cloudy day, not bright but not dark either. The objects in the photo include the field with the field goal, a few houses in the background, trees, a track wrapping around the field, and obviously, the young man who is the subject of the photo. In this image, the boy seems to be longingly staring at the field goal, perhaps wishing he was back on the field playing.
This image doesn’t appear at first to be underexposed or overexposed, but it could also be just a bit underexposed. The image is only focused on the subject while everything surrounding him is out of focus. The color is correct due to the blacks (such as his clothes) look black, and the whites (such as his socks) look white. Because nothing has the chance to stand out and be an eyesore, this photo is pleasing to look at. The photo does not use the rule of thirds, for the subject of the photo is centered. There is pixelation in the out of focus areas of the photo, but there is no pixelation present on the subject himself. The resolution wouldn’t pass as adequate due to the majority of the photo being unfocused.
The point of view is pretty direct and straight on, and the photo could have easily been taken by someone walking with the teenager. A shallow depth of field is being used due to the fact that the only thing in focus is the boy. The focal point is clearly the young man in the center, but he isn’t really being framed by anything except for the blurriness around him. The lines, such as where the grass and track meet, direct you into the direction of the subject of the photo. The image is pretty balanced, but it is asymmetrical. The subject does not fill the space, and the negative space is the empty field and track. The edge of the image is part of the field and a few houses, and the image must have cropped out the remainder of the field and maybe more houses that border the football field.
I believe this image could depict a young man that got into some sort of trouble with the law or his parents (judging on the tracker around his ankle.) As a result of this trouble he got into, he was prohibited from playing the sports that he may have played in school, presumably football. His body position gives off a longing vibe, and I think this shows that he misses playing, wants to be back on the field, and maybe even regrets the decision he made to get him kicked off the team. This image does remind me of doing something I regret and wanting to get back what I had before the decision was made (not to the extreme of having a tracker, though.) The image is very interesting, and it makes you think about the story behind it. I like this photo because of the massage it conveys, and I think it was successful in carrying out its message.
The image seems to have a very gloomy and dark sense to it. All the colors seem to be dark, and maybe even dry. It seems to be a very cloudy day, and it is out on a gravel track right next to an empty football field. There is a person wearing athletic, black clothes with some sort of device wrapped around his ankle. Also, socks and sandals. There seems to be a forested school in the background, behind the football field.
The image seems to have perfect exposure, with the subject being completely in focus (shallow depth of field). It has pretty good resolution overall.
The rule of thirds is not being used; the subject is centered. The colors create a depressing mood, and I don't like depressing things, so for me, it is not pleasing to look at. The photographer chose to photograph the subject looking back at the football field,. The image is asymmetrical and there is a bunch of extra space portrayed as a background. The subject is only a small portion of the image. The fact that the image has an extremely shallow depth of field, your eye is directed directly to the focused subject.
The image appears to be showing an athletic person being restricted from what he enjoys by the device in his ankle. He longs for the happiness that the football field symbolizes, and he is longing be on it. As he moves on, he may be deciding to leave it behind and turn on the other direction. In the picture he is taking his last glance at the field. The artist chose to make the viewer question why this person had that thing on his ankle.
I don't like the photo. Even though it is packed with symbolism and meaning, I find the photograph itself really boring. Depressing colors, and a restricted guy. That's about it for me. Although I don't like it, the image is successful in showing a deeper meaning in a simple picture.
The image in the photo above is of an athlete who has an ankle monitor on. The athlete is most likely in high school and plays football. The color scheme of the photo is dark and contains muted colors which imposes a theme of sadness on the photo. The lighting seems a little dark and it must be due to the fact that it's cloudy. We can see that the guy is on a football field and is looking back at the field goal. We can see that he seems sad that he can't play football.
The image is a little underexposed, we can tell because it's dark. The image is in focus and the color is correct.
The photo isn't pleasing to look at. It's sad to see that he can't play the sport he obviously loves. The rule of thirds is being used with the filed goal but not with the guy since he is in the center of the photo. The point of view is as if we're there looking at him and the lines direct us to the back of the field near the field goal. The image is well balanced
The theme of the image is sadness. Because he can't play football. We don't know why he has the ankle monitor, but because of it, the photo is really sad. The artist took this photo maybe to spread awareness of black lives in the US. The photo overall is very interesting and suspenseful because the viewer wants to know more. The photo has a message of youth and motivations and can be inspiring to others.
By looking at this photograph, it is feasible to say that it has a shallow depht of field, with a low F stop. I can also observe that it isn't overexposed or underexposed. This picture might have been set up, but it doesn't rely on any studio lightning. It seems symmetrical in the way that nothing is next to the main focus, which is a young man. I also believe it is well balanced in account of negative and positive space; the negative space surrounds the young man which in a way empathizes him.
My personal opinion on the picture is neutral, and I can't decipher a deeper meaning. But it brings back fond memories of my time playing (non-competitive) football in Mexico. The picture seems to be set at a football field with a track around it. I would have guessed the young man is an athlete but he isn't wearing any athletic gear other than his shorts. I am still musing about that green and white bracelet the boy wears. I bet if I knew what it was, I'd be able to read this picture more assertively. Also, the colors in the picture seem dull to me. It has a melancholy quality to it, but I can't quite point it out.
This Image is of a boy standing of the track next to the football field. The colors being used are not bright, the colors are very dull. The colors of the image make this image very boring. There are no shadows being used in the photograph. The boy is standing and staring at the field.
The photograph's exposure is just right. It is not under or over exposed. The image is focused. The imaged is focused on the boy. The colors are correct, there is not color that looks bad.
The image is not pleasing to look at. There is no action, therefore, the image is very boring to look at. This image does not give me any thoughts when i look at it. I can't tell if there is a story being told. If there was a story being told; i could guess that the wished he could be playing football at the moment. I can't tell what the artist was trying to say. No, this photograph does not remind me of anything from my childhood.
This image is not beautiful. If you think looking at a boy staring at the football field is interesting then that is kind of odd. I hate this image. Hate is a strong word but there is nothing interesting in the image. No thoughts run through my mind in this image, and images are meant to make someone think about the concept. This image is not successful because of how poorly the creativity was.
The following photograph is of a male high school student dress in gym clothes: a black tank with black shorts, and is wearing slides with white socks. On his right ankle a probation/ house arrest anklet is placed right above his sock. In the photograph, he is standing straight up looking back at a football field. He's standing on the track surrounding the not very well kept football field. The sky is cloudy, there are no bright colors in the photo which probably indicates that this is a neutral setting with a mellow setting.
The photograph has a very neutral setting and seems to have a negative sense to it. The lighting seems to be a little over exposed and the photograph focuses on the person standing in the center. While the man isn't focused on the photograph being taken, he is definitely the center of this photograph. Everything in the photo is focused and there isn't really a blurriness in the background.
It seems like there is a deep meaning behind this photo. Although there isn't much to look at; there is still a lot of possibilities this photograph could be telling. Since the high school student is looking back, it seems like he is looking back at previous mistakes he's mad and it seems like he might be regretting them. The reason I mention mistakes because his anklet might indicate that he made a bad decision which cost him the chance and opportunity to possibly play a sport he loved: football.
By simply looking at the photo, I personally don't think it's pleasing and I honestly don't like the photo. To me, it is simply a boring photo to look at, there is nothing that catches my eye except the anklet. If any person were to just look at this photograph, they might just quickly scan over it because there is nothing different or unique about. With thought and consideration; one might find much meaning to it like I did. Even though I ended up finding meaning, I still found it boring and neutral.
This photograph is of a male standing on a track. He is looking into the distance at a football field. He is most likely a football player. I think that he got caught doing something illegal and is on some sort of arrest because of his ankle bracelet. He is wearing socks and flip flops.
The photograph is in a shallow depth of field. It appears to be slightly underexposed. The lines along the grass direct your attention towards the man. This photo does not use the rule of thirds. There is no negative space.
There is a deeper meaning behind this photo. The depth of field makes you focus on the man. His expression seems to be distant and gloomy. There are many different ideas you can make up about the photo.
I think the photographer is successful with this photograph. I find the photo pleasing to look at because of the story behind it. I believe he is also looking back at the past and evaluating his life. Overall this is a great photograph.
The above photograph is of a young man dressed in gym shorts, slides, and a t-shirt. He has a probation or house arrest ankle monitor on his right ankle. His body is faced towards the camera but his head is turned away from the camera and focused on the goal post on the football field to his left-he is currently standing on the track. The colors are very lifeless, they are pale, sort of watered down, they lack liveliness and vibrancy. The picture is taken outside and so natural light has been used. Perhaps the reason for the lack of vibrant colors is due to overexposure of the photograph.
The photograph doesn't follow the rule of thirds as the subject is in the center of the photo not on the far left or far right. The point of view could be from someone looking or talking with the subject. The goal post makes the photo asymmetrical because it is on the right of the subject and there is only empty space to the subject's left. The subject doesn't fill the frame, he fills only the center.
I feel that the photograph conveys the guy's longing to play football but something happened, as indicated by the ankle monitor, and he is no longer able to play. This is emphasized by his longing at the goal post. I feel like this photograph is an all to common reality for many young people because they get involved in the wrong things or collapse under peer pressure. I feel this artist created this photograph to convey the reality of many young people, especially those not affluent, to the rest of society. The photograph definitely supports the stereotype that young black males are always the delinquents and the trouble makers.
Personally, I like this photograph. I like it because it is real, or it appears real. It exhibits a reality, one that is all too common for many kids in today's day. Yes, it is sad, its kinda depressing, but it shows how your choices change you, and how they change your future. I consider this photograph successful because the message is clear: the boy was a football player, he loved the sport, but something happened, as indicated by the ankle monitor, and he can no longer play.
