This image is of an old rusted bus. This image is using mostly earthy colors, like brown and yellow and green. The lighting in this image is natural. Objects in this image are a bus, fence, multiple rv’s, planks laying on the ground, an telephone poles. Nothing is happening in this image.

This is pleasing to look at because it kind of gives a sense of nostalgia. The rule of thirds is not being used. The point of view is 3rd person. The depth of this image is shallow depth of field. The focal point is the bus in the center of the image.

The lines are mostly on the fence that ends about halfway on the bus, directing your eyes there. This image is not balanced. The image does not fill the frame. The edge of the image would show the rest of the fence or maybe an old rv park. The negative space is around the bus which is the positive space.

A theme might be old and worn out. A story could be of how a bus was used for many years by children until it didn’t work properly and was left somewhere a lot of people don’t go. The artist might’ve made this image because it looks rustic. This image reminds me of a post-apocalypse setting. This image is nice to look at

This image is of an abandoned school bus that seems to be out in the middle of a trailer park type area. There seems to be a really run down area around the bus as well as some trailers behind it. The image uses a lot of brown and yellow. The lighting looks like a slightly overcast day with some bit of blue poking out from behind the clouds. Nothing is really happening in the image which makes it seem like there is nobody left to do anything.

I like the composition because the subject is right in the middle of the picture. The rule of thirds is being used because of the position of the bus. I would say that this is in first person point of view because it is like you are looking through someone’s eyes. There is a very deep depth of field being used in this image. The focal point is definitely the school bus although there are some things in the background that are worth looking at as well.

The lines in this image are mostly from the fence, as well as the telephone poles. The image is asymmetrical. The subject leaves some extra space in the image for things to show up. This image doesn’t really feel like it has a defined ending. It feels like it could be an image the kind of goes on forever because the fence doesn’t end in the image and the horizon is kind of open.

I’d say that a theme that is in this image would be something along the lines of abandonment or being left to rot. There is a story being told in this image. The story could be that maybe a bomb went off and now the humans are completely gone from this area but somebody else shows up and sees all of the destruction. I think that the artist’s intention with this image was to capture the stillness and how everything was devoid of life. I’d say that this image reminds me of the typical apocalypse movie where there are only a select number of people left on Earth.

I do like the image because it gives off a sense of tranquility and peace. If you do happen to think about the story behind this image however, you start to rethink those thoughts of peace. The thoughts would probably turn into questions like, “what happened here?” The photograph is successful because I think it fulfills the artist’s intention. Overall I’d say that this image is interesting and noteworthy because there is a lot to notice that you may not have seen the first time you look at it.

This photo that I am doing has a black and white tiled floor. The colors being used in the image are black, white and the chairs are silver. The lighting of the image is very bright and there are no shadows. There are several chairs in the background but nothing else. Nothing is happening in the image, someone just walked into a restaurant or store and took pictures.

The image is not “pleasing” but it gives a monotone kind of look into my attitude. The rule of thirds are not being used in the image. The photographer took the photo from first person. There is a shallow depth of field being applied in the image. The focus point of the image is the bizzare tiles on the ground. There are no lines that direct my eyes to a certain point because there are too many of them. The image is symmetrical because it is very clean and well done. There is extra space by the edge near the chairs but it doesn’t effect the image. There are chairs at the end of the image and no frame is on the image. there , again, is a monotone space in the image.

No themes or ideas are being applied in the image. There is no story being told in the image except for a student took a photo. The artist made the image because he or she wanted to have a great photo to edit in class. This image reminds me of a back in the day restaurant, maybe the 50’s. I don’t challenge the image at all. The image is very clean and was very well done.

I do like how the photo was made because it doesn’t make everyone sad or mad, it’s a regular old photo. This photo was very well done and was made in a very good way. This photo was successful by the photographer. He or she took lots of time trying to get the right image and they did succeed. Whoever took this photo did a great job.

This image obviously took lots of time to do. They had to get just the right shot to achieve perfection. This person should have used this image to turn in. They obviously had to go through a lot to make this image happen. Again, this person had a great photo put out for them.

This is an image of vines that are growing on someone’s house. The colors the image are using are green, blue, white, and black. The lighting is bright sunlight. The objects in the image are vines, windows, and a side of a house. The picture is a still image of vines on a house.

The picture is pleasing to look at because of the green vines on the blue wall. The rule of thirds is somewhat being used because the vines are near or on the intersections of the lines in rule of thirds. The point of view is 3rd person and they are at the same angle as the vines. The photographer is using a large depth of field. The focal point is the vines and they are framed by the light blue wall color compared to the dark green leaves.

The lines of the image are the vines and the diagonal lines on the wall, and they are both going to the windows and other vines. The image is asymmetrical because the left side is different from the right. The subject does not fill the frame and there is extra space at the top of the image. The frame cuts off the rest of the outer house wall and the beginning of the vines. The positive space is the vines and the windows, while the negative is the house wall.

There aren’t any themes of this image other than to show the vines on the side of the house. The only story i could think about for this image is that the vines have been growing for a long time since you can see some webs on the windows and the paint is coming off. The artist’s intention to take this photo is probably to show the vines on their house. The vines remind me of houses of neighborhoods in italy. This image doesn’t challenge anything.

I like this image because it seems so very peaceful. The image almost looks fake because of how it looks like almost like a studio setup. I also like the image because it gives off a nostalgia vibe of seeing vines on your grandparents’ house or aunt/uncle’s house. I think the photograph is successful because of the stillness of the image. The colors of the image of image are very vivid and noticeable.

This image is of a greenhouse. The image was taken at dusk, and the sky is cool. The greenhouse is filled with warm light, and that light illuminates the rest of the image. The colors in the image are mostly natural, earth tones. The greenhouse is in the center of the image, probably in someone's backyard. There are also other gardening supplies, such as pots, tables, and hoses in the image.

I like the composition of this image, the greenhouse, which is the subject, is in the center. The rule of thirds is being used. This image has a deep depth of field. We are able to clearly see the small details in the distance, such as the tree limbs and fence posts. The focal point of this image is the greenhouse and it is framed very well by the paneling on the structure. The paneling on the greenhouse can also be used as leading lines because it leads your eye throughout the subject.

The image is balanced because the subject is in the center and there are objects on both sides. However, the image is not symmetrical. On one side of the greenhouse is a table and dog house, while on the other side there is a table and a trash bin. The frame of this image cuts off the rest of the backyard, but there are not any major parts of the image being cut out. At the edge of the frame, there are trees and the fenceline.

I do not think that this image was created with an intentional theme. However, the image does remind me of a memory. In 7th grade, we used to work in the greenhouse at TMI for science class. We had a lot of fun doing it, and the warm light in the photo could symbolize happy memories. The happy memories are contained in the greenhouse and unaffected by the outside darkness.

I really like this image. It caught my eye because of the warm light from the greenhouse. The time of day that the image was taken really helps the photograph. Because of the dark background and warm subject, the image stands out really well. I think the image is successful for many reasons, for example, the image is focused and the subject is sharp.

I am writing about the photograph of the school bus. In this picture, we see an abandoned school bus. It is painted yellow but the paint has faded away in many parts of the bus. There are patches of rust everywhere. The bus looks like it is an older bus, much older. Behind it is a fence, and farther back there are two trailers that don’t look abandoned but they are too small to tell for certain. The land in the foreground looks pretty messy, there are pieces of wood lying around randomly. It does not have a ton of colors but the yellow of the school bus definitely sticks out.

This image uses a deep depth of field because everything is in focus. The bus is in the direct center of the frame, and none of it is being cut off. The bus does not fill the frame, there is still a lot of room to see the foreground and background. The image is relatively symmetrical. The fence behind the bus acts as leading lines that direct our eyes towards the bus.

This image is very pleasing to look at. It looks like the artist was trying to convey some sort of message about abandonment. What I took away from the image was that just because something may be abandoned, aged, and just plain ugly it can still be turned into a beautiful piece of art. When you look at it you get an immediate eerie feeling of something lost or abandoned.

It reminds me of an airplane junkyard in Arizona I’ve always wanted to go to. When you look at pictures of that place you can’t take your eyes off. They just have so much detail and each plane has its own story, and there are a ton of them. This image gives me that feeling. Everything in the image belonged together and the colors complimented them a lot.

I like this image. I like the way it turns an old rusty bus into a really cool photograph that is pleasing to look at. I didn’t feel like it told a story but rather gave me a feeling, and I like that. I also like the colors used in the image. There is no spot where you don’t want to look because all of the colors blend together very well.

The photo that I will be writing about is a photograph that is all grey with the boots. I personally really like this photograph because I like how this photograph is very simple and sometimes less is more. This image is of some grey boots and underneath the boots there is steel that the person seems to be standing on. There also seems to be some specs of dirt on this picture.
There is natural lighting in this picture and it seems like it was a gloomy day because there is no sunlight. In this image there is grey weather boots as the main focus point for the viewer and underneath the boots there is some sort of metal that the person is standing on and the person was walking more than likely so there is some dirt that is also visible in the photograph.
In this photograph there doesn’t seem to be an exact message that the photographer was to send and there is also no theme being applied. This photograph reminds me of winter and the cold seasons because of the lighting provided by the photographer. I feel like the photographer made this image because she\he might have thought that it was a very simple scene but after being edited I believe that it turned out really good.
This image definitely did not take much time to do just because everything in this image is very simple and all you need to make this image is boots, a steel ground, really good lighting, and a photograph of course. This image does not challenge or question any beliefs or assumptions, I believe that it was just simply a photograph that this photographer did not plan and it had a really good outcome.
Overall, I believe that this was a very good and simple photograph, therefore I personally believe that it was very successful picture. I really like it because there is not that many objects and whenever you see this photo your automatic focus point goes directly to the boots and I think that the photographer definitely wanted that so he or she did a very good job.

The image I am writing about is the black and white image of the journal with writing in it. The main focus on this photo is the journal with writing inside. The artist set up objects and staged the scene to make this photograph. The photo is bright and you can see the highlights from the sun. The image is also in black and white.

This image was taken from an birds eye point of view. The book is the main focus and positive space. The blanket in the back being the negative space. This image uses complementary colors and it is appealing the grey, white, and blacks. The photographer did a good job of using lines. The lines from the blanket also draw your eye the the book.

This photo is a still life of a book with writing. I like how the writing is in french it changes the mood of the photo. I also like the inclusion of the pen. I think the artist picked good strong subjects to be the focus. Also the clarity throughout the whole image is nice and give good quality. Alsong with the natural shadows created by the blanket.

This image is a narrative one. It almost looks like something from a movie it also looks like the paintings and photos sold at furniture stores in the teen section. Since it is a staged photo I think it makes it more interesting. It makes it interesting because everything was put in a specific place and the photo was taken from a certain angle. It makes the viewer wonder more about possibly what was the artist thinking when they were setting this up. It leaves room for question like why include the pen? Or, Why write what they did? I think in this way the image becomes narrative and also just looking at it, it definitely is a piece of work that someone could sympathize with.

I do like this image because it looks like something out of a movie or a photo you would buy at a furniture store. I think it is successful for its composition and quality. I like the highlights and shadows in the blankets and how the artist used the lines. I also think this photo is successful because of its narrative side. I also really like this photo because i could see a teen girl hang this photo in their room and make it their rooms centerpiece.

This image consists of an old yellow bus in the middle of nowhere surrounded by broken down fences and other trailers. This photograph is using a warmer color scale like browns and yellows, but the main object is a bright yellow. Even though the subject of this image is a rusty old bus, it still captures your attention because it is perfectly centered and well focused. This image was shot with a deep depth of field, because you can see the background as clear as the foreground. This image also has very good natural lighting and it looks like the sky was clear that day.

This image is very pleasing to look at because it has this sort of aesthetic kind of vibe to it, it gives the viewers an old timey, rusty, lonely vibe. The contrast of this image is also very well edited, because it brings out the yellow hues from the broken down bus and the light blue from the sky. This TMI student shot this image with a 3rd person point of view and took this photograph at eye level. This image is also very strong, because it has a very nice use of lines and symmetry. The fence and carved lines on the bus give the image a very pleasing structure to look at.

In this photograph, the main object is the yellow bus, so that would be considered the positive space. The negative space is all of the field and sky around the yellow bus. This image is full of symmetry, because apart from the lines being incorporated into the pleasing aspect of this photograph, the symmetry makes this image stand out. The bus is in the very center of the image, giving the same amount of space on each side. This photograph does not have a specific frame, so it makes you wonder what else is going on in this scenario. The fence got cut out of the frame, but it doesn’t really matter because the main focus isn’t the fence.

When I take a minute to look at this image, the idea that comes to my mind is the magic school bus. This image reminds me of that one T.V show during my childhood about a yellow bus taking kids on adventures. This bus must have had a story behind it, whether a big one or a non meaningful one. This bus may have gotten stranded in this old and abandoned park filled with home mobiles and trailers and was just left there. It was left there for such a long time that it started to deteriorate. This image is really interesting, because not only does it tell a story and remind me of my childhood, it makes me think about the way non-privileged kids had/have to travel to get some type of education. It might have not been the fanciest car that took them to school, but maybe just a stinky old bus filled with rust, but it didn’t matter to them because they were getting an education.

I really like this image by a TMI student, because it is aesthetically pleasing to the eye. The colors in this photograph all go very well together and this image was also taken with a very sharp focus. This image is very detailed and very shard and the photographer managed to capture every single thing from the stems of the dead trees in the background to the carvings on the pieces of wood in front of the yellow bus. I personally really enjoy this photograph because compositionally it meets all of the requirements that make a strong image and it also tells a story. This image is definitely very successful and I congratulate whoever managed to make this beautiful shot, I would enjoy looking at other images that are similar to this type of composition and theme.

I am writing about the image with the greenhouse. In this image you can see a lot of trees in the background and lots of pots and some fertilizer. This picture was taken outside and it was taken later in the afternoon maybe around 7 or 8ish. This image does you natural lighting but it also uses lighting from the lights inside the green house. There isn’t too much color in this image besides the bright yellow light from the greenhouse. The colors are mainly neutral tones.

The subject of this image is the greenhouse. There is a various number of leading lines that direct your eyes to the greenhouse like the ones actually on the greenhouse and also the horizon line that the fence makes. The bright light coming from within the greenhouse also attracts your eyes to it. The subject does not fill up the entire frame and is mainly in the center of the image. This image was also taken with a deep depth of field since you can clearly see the trees in the background as well.

I don’t think this image has a particular theme to it. This image, however, reminds me of my 7th grade science class because the room where my science class was connected to a greenhouse like the one in the image. This also reminds me of my grandmother. The image reminds me of my grandma because she loves to garden and puts a lot of effort into taking good care of her plants. It reminded me of when i was little and I would used to go spend hours outside with my grandma planting flowers.

I really like this image. I pretty much like everything about it. I like how most of the image is a little dark, but then there is the bright yellow light coming from the greenhouse. The yellow light adds a pop to the image which I also really like. I enjoyed looking and writing about this image because it made me remember some happy memories from years ago. The image is also very pleasing to look at.

I think this image is also very successful. This is a high quality image. It has a good use of leading lines and positive/negative space. There is lots to see in this image, but at the same time you exactly what the subject is. I also think it has good use of lighting. This image also has a very good depth of field where you can everything in the background and in the front of the image very clearly.

This image is of a briefcase and a sheet in the background to capture the light coming out of the briefcase. There isn’t a person in the image. The light on the sheet that is coming out of the briefcase is a yellow orange color. The image uses several different colors including brown black yellow and orange. I like these colors put together because they are pleasing to the eye. The lighting is dark and has shadows where the light coming out of the briefcase doesn’t illuminate.

The light that is being used is artificial. I think that this image resembles a scene from a children adventure movie. It looks like someone has just found a briefcase that leads to a portal like Alice in Wonderland. This image is pleasing to look at because of the colors and the shadows. The photographer seems to have taken the image from the normal point of view.

The rule of thirds is being used because the briefcase which I believe is the subject is in the middle of the image. Deep depth of field is being used in this image. The lines are the briefcase because it frames the light and the creases in the sheet. The lines on the sheet keep you focused on the briefcase and the light coming out of it because in a way they frame the image. The edge of the image is darkness because the light coming out from the briefcase doesn't illuminate that area.

The image cuts off the sheet and whatever objects are in the rest of the setting. The subject fills most of the space. There is a story being told in the image as I said before. This image reminds me of a Alice in Wonderland because I feel like the briefcase has something in it that leads to somewhere else. This image doesn’t question any beliefs.

This image is beautiful because of the colors and the light usage. I do not know why the photographer made this image. This image is interesting because of how even though there isn't a person in it it still manages to have a narrative. I like this image because of the color lighting. I think that this image was successful because it manages to tell a story without using words or people.
