This picture is a young man who is sitting on a flight of stairs. This picture is using dull and bland colors. The exposure uses these colors to set a serious mood in the image. This image is not under or over exposed since the colors look right. The image was focused properly and they correct aperture was used. There is no pixelation meaning that this picture was probably taken with a low iso.

The composition blocks the persons face and makes you wonder what he is looking at. The photographer took this picture as a person would see if they walked up to the man from his left side. The exposure is somewhat framed by the railing on the stairs, and makes the viewer focus on the man in the middle of the exposure. This image is not symmetrical because the stone walls and stairs do not properly align with the bottom of the exposure. The only thing cropped out is the railing to the right and the mans face on the stairs.

The image fills the frame and there is not much extra space. There are lines formed by the railing and by the edge of the small stone wall. The focal point of this image is the man on the stairs. He is sitting and looking in a way that we can not see his face. He also looks like he is pondering on a deep subject. I think the theme of this image is that all humans have the same basic processes. He sitting peacefully thinking of a topic that interests him. This shows that all races are equal and that we all act in the same way. The only difference is how we look. I do not like this picture since it is a little gloomy and does show the face of the man portrayed in it.

This image is highly appealing to the eye. It is provocative and thought invoking. The image is expose right, and it seems as if it was taken on a cloud day. This helps to influence the mood of the picture. The colors are subdued and the child is wearing a good deal of black. The key part of the image is that the young man’s eyes are covered up in order to provoke our curiosity.

This is a very pleasing image to look at due to its great composition. The lines in the picture draw you to the subject of the image, the mans covered up eyes. There are horizontal and vertical lines that lead our eyes directly to him. Furthermore, the rule of thirds is being used. The action is occurring at the nodes of the picture. The focal point of the image is the man's covered eyes. Once again, we have the point of view of someone on the outside looking in. This is done in order to provoke our curiosity. There is extra space around the subject and this space is used in order to illustrate the man’s bleak surroundings and further convey the mood of the picture.

The central idea of the image revolves around notions of racism. This young, african-american man is has his eyes covered by a wooden pole. It is as if to say that his eyes are covered in order to hide from the horrors of the world that are occurring around him. The story being told is one of an introspective young man who seems to be trying to deal with some troubles in his life. In making this image, the artist intends to tell a story of this young man and all of the horror which he has encountered. The author does this extremely well with the covering of his eyes in order to convey a message. Furthermore, the bleak and colorless surroundings indicate a bleak perspective of this man's situation. This image challenges racial beliefs and attempts to take a stand against any sort of racism.

This image is interesting and thought provoking. It is highly successful because it tries to convey and take a stand against racism. It does that very well. I greatly enjoy this photo. This is because of the messages that it conveys and the ways that the author leads us to look at the blurring of the man's eyes. Also, the selection of color and tones is brilliant. These colors help to convey the story that is trying to be told.

This image is of a man sitting on stairs with the top half of his face covered by a wooden rail. It has green grass and bushes in the background, a brown wooden rail, and grey concrete and steps. There are no shadows in the picture and it is using daylight. The whole man is in the picture except for the top part of his face. He is sitting on the steps and turned so he is facing the camera but you can't see his eyes because they are hidden by the rail.

The image seems to be correctly exposed. The man is in focus but the background bushes and grass are blurry. The color is correct and the picture looks like it would in real life. There doesn't seem to be any pixelation, but there could be some light pixelation in the background. The resolution seems adequate and makes the picture look right.

The image is pleasing to look at because of its simplicity. The rule of thirds is partially being used because the stairs are mainly in the right side of the picture but the boy is in all three parts. The point of view of the picture is level to the man. The lines of the stairs and the cement wall point to the man along with the line of the wooden rail. The image isn't symmetrical. It is framed by the edge of the stairs and the bushes.

The theme of the image is to connect with nature. This man is by himself enjoying nature in a park. The photographer wants more people to connect with nature like this man. I like this photo because it makes me want to go to a local park and enjoy nature like this man. The photo is successful because it has the ability to inspire people to connect with nature by showing how anyone, like this unknown man, can go enjoy nature.

The image consists of a dark skinned male teenager sitting on simple concrete stairs. His body is facing away from the camera but he is looking at the lens. It appears that he is wearing a untucked black pollo shirt with baggy jeans. Battered sneakers are on his feet. Natural lighting s being used but it appears to be a cloudy day.
The colors that pop out in this image are black, grey, brown, and forest green. The color is correct and the resolution is adequate. The photo is high quality for there is no appearance of pixelation. The camera focuses on the boy and the rail that covers his face is blurred. This is a shallow depth of field.
The image is pleasing to look at because eve n if the colors spectrum is dark, the picture is clear. The artist was trying to portray a visual representation of how minorities are viewed in American society. You know that black people are physically existent, but the artist covered the boys face. Society doesn’t see them the way they truly are. They cover them with labels and people can’t look at your face or talk to a black teenager before passing a judgement. You would just have to look at the color of their skin.
This image makes you think on a deeper level about the social and political issues today. Even if this image was produced a long time ago, it just proves that image is timeless. People can still interpret it according to the problems going on in their generation. This photographer was successful of expressing political issues in our society in an artistic way. I enjoy this image because it makes the viewer think.

This is a picture representing the lack of identity. People these days feel as if they don't have a say. whether it be politics, laws or general day to day actions depends upon the person. Hiding the eyes is like hiding the soul. Its like he has something to hide.
The picture is focused on the kid while he is not whats in front. This causes a bit of eye wonder. I can't tell if its good or bad so ill just say its interesting instead. The next thing i noticed was the shoes but, I don't know why they caught my eye. There does not seem to be anything special about them. That may be why they are spacial though.
The background makes the image convey sadness or loneliness. I say sadness because it feels like he went out of the way to be alone. I say loneliness because it feels secluded. It almost looks under exposed but it may be a cloudy day. This contributes to the sadness/loneliness feeling caused by this image.
The tired look on the lower half of this kids face, makes him look tired. It looks like he was in some kind of taxing verbal fight. This may be the cause of the gloomy tone. Or it might be as simple as sitting down for a second to rest. But we will probably never know because we were not there.

This photo is good quality and resolution. The artist uses dark and dull colors to represent sadness. The image is of a guy sitting on stairs with a rail covering his eyes. I think the artist did not show his eyes to make it a little more mysterious.
The image is correctly exposed and is using natural light the boy is in focus. I find the image pleasing to look at. It is pleasing to me because the image is very clear and you can see a lot of detail. The rule of thirds is used because the rail is on the far right. The main focus of the image is the man and the stairs frame him.
The image was taken at eye level with the man which is interesting because his eyes are hidden.

This image is of a boy sitting on ceramic steps and looking right at the camera. The photographer is using natural colors in the image, they are just right. It is outside so the photo is using natural light. The objects are the stairs the railing that is in front of the boys eyes and the boy. He is sitting on steps with a depressed face and looking right at the camera.
It is a little bit underexposed. The image is in focus, the photographer is focusing on the boy and the steps. The railing and everything else is not in focus for a reason. There is some pixelation in the photo in isn't adequate resolution. It is pleasing to look at because the colors are warm.
The photographer took the photo straight on right at the boy. The focal point is the boy and the steps are in focus. The photo has some extra space, maybe the photographer did that on purpose. I think there is a story being told in this photo and why did the photographer purposely cover up the boys eye or was it an accident and the photographer liked it the way it looks. I think this image is really interesting.
I really like this photo because it is really interesting and it makes you think about who the boy is. Also it makes you think what is the boy thinking and why dos he have that expression on his face. I think this photographer is successful because the photographer made you want to think. They made you want to think why they took a picture of this boy. And also why did the photographer photograph from this angle? Also why did the photographer tell the boy to look right into the camera? This is a really cool photo.

In the image, there a guy sitting on the stairs. He is wearing a black t-shirt, a pair of jeans and a pair of old shoes. In the back, there're bushes and grass. It mainly uses cold and dark color. The handle next to the stairs blocks our vision to the boy's eyes.

The photo is a little underexposed and dark. The image is focusing on the boy and the handle. The bushes in the back is not the important part of the image. The usage of color is good and the color is correct. The photo is not very beautiful to look at.

Although the boy is at the middle of the picture, the rule of third is being used because the boy's head, which is the focus of the picture, is not right at the middle. The line of handle and the stairs at the back direct your eyes back to the main theme--the boy' head. The positive space is the handle and the boy, the negative space is the bushes.

The photo show us some deep idea. The handle blocked the boy's eyes, so we can't see what he looks like. We don't know if his eyes are normal or something happened to it. I think the photo is trying to describe a boy suffered from depression because we can know that he is not happy if we look at his face. The photographer is trying to say that the people that suffered from depression is usually introvert and they always try to hide themselves. I like the picture because it draws lot of people's attention to the group that is not so popular and not being take care of.

This is an image of a hispanic boy in a dark- casual clothes sitting on some stairs behind a railing blocking his face. There are more stairs and railing behind him with a bush. It is using dark colors maybe to set the mood. It is a shaded sunlight lighting. The stairs and and ground are made of different shades of concrete. The image is still.

The image is slightly underexposed. The whole picture is in focus. All the colors look correct. The pixelation is good. There is adequate resolution.

The picture is pleasing to look at because the colors are soft and easy on the eyes. The rule of thirds is being used because the kid is on the right facing left. The photographer takes the photo from the head height of the sitting boy. The point of focus is the part of his face you can see. Not Done Yet:::::

The focal point is framed by the intersection to the two poles. The poles and their intersection lead your eyes to the boys face. The image is not balanced. The concrete takes up all the negative/blank space. The frame crops off wherever the stairs lead.

There are pictures of youth and nature in this photo. There is not much of story being told as much as a belief. The artist is trying to say that kids grow up differently when in the city and a have a concrete wall between them and nature. It doesn't remind me of anything except for the lack of nature of where he is. It challenges some social beliefs because he is sitting on his stairs of concrete (lacking nature) and the stairs just lead to more stairs. I think the image is very noteworthy and interesting.

I like this photo a lot because I agree with it. The photo is sending out a very important message. That message is that kids aren't the same without nature. This photo was successful in my opinion. It had a great message and it gave the message well.

This image is showing a boy that is sitting on stairs with the railing blocking half of his face. The colors most used are brown because of the railing. The lighting is just right its not too dark or nor too light. The surroundings show that it is in the fall.

The objects used in this photo are stairs, a child, leaves, and a railing. The image is high quality, and everything is in focus. The color is correct. The quality is very high.

This photo is not pleasing to look at. The rule of thirds is being used. The point of view is focused on the boy and the railing. The line son this photograph lead us to the boy on the stairs. the image is not balanced because the lines are going every direction.

The idea of this photo was portrayed by in a crazy road, it can take you on something good. Or to hide your identity. It does not remind me of a childhood memory.\

I don't like it. And it was successful.

This image shows a teenager sitting down on stairs and the rail covering his eyes, This color isn't using any filter, but is using color correction. This image is using a darker, shadier color so that the skin tones come out properly, and this image seems to have been taken on a cloudy day using actual sunlight. In this image the boy is staring off into the distance, this image neither overexposed or underexposed. This image is on manual focus on the character. Yes this image has been color corrected, and there is no pixilation which is shown on either side of the image.

This image could be entertaining or pleasing to people who have different thought of this image, but to me i see the image as it is, with no emotion. The photographer took this image from the side view of this character (his left side). The lines are barely noticeable, but enough to make your eyes see the character first. Yes the main object of the image fills in the spaces. The image crops off the rest of the sidewalk in the top right.
In the image the idea would be that this guy went out because he is stressed out and just needs some fresh air. There doesn't seem to be a story being told other than using your imagination and think of possible reasons why he is sitting down. I think the authors intention of this image was to show that there are still people who have a hard time in life and to show that you are not alone. This image challenges that we live in a strange and difficult world. This image is also noteworthy because you see that you don't face the difficulties which people or jobs give you alone. In the end yes, I enjoy this picture, although I can't make much of it, it's still successful do to the message it can provide.

The image is of a a teenage boy sitting on the stairs with the guard rail blocking his face. The lighting is naturally lit since the boy is outside. The background has some trees with more steps upward.
The Picture is perfectly exposed, the whites are good and the darks are dark. The boy in the photo is in focus, the background and the rail blocking his face aren't in focus. The color is fine none of the whites are discolored. There is no pixelation.
The photo is very pleasing to look at the lighting isn't harsh and there aren't to many distracting lines. The rail blocking his face makes you look around. The focal point is the boy in the center.
The boy looks sad so maybe he has something to hide or something going on in his life. his eyes are blocked which is strange. his mouth is pouted so maybe he just loss something important to him
