The image above seems creepy. The image above is of two girls and pair of feet hanging from the ceiling. The younger girl in the picture looks younger, maybe around the age of 7 or 8 she has orangish hair and seems to be looking for something. The woman towards the back seems older and looks like wither the oldest sister or the babysitter and she is trying to either stop or help the child out of the attic. On the ground there appears to be hair and scissors from where omens hair was cut. The colors in the picture are very bright to attract the persons eye too all the elements in the room.

The lighting g in the room is bright, and I think just a little bit over exposed but not too much where you can tell. The image projected is all in focus. The color in the picture is correct and not modified and you can tell by looking at the things that are white if they're actually white. The composition functions as a picture that is mysterious, that makes you wonder whats going on and where are the parents in this situation.

The point if view I feel that the photographer was trying to get across was mystery. You look at the picture and a bunch of questions pop into the back of your mind. To me there is no focal point because theres so much going on in the picture you just want to look at all of it at the same time. The subjects fit the frame but then there is stuff that you don't see like, the girl in the attic or what the child is staring at through the wall.

The themes of this image are mystery and suspense. There is a story being told in this image, and I feel like its either a babysitter having a hard time handing all the kids she's taking care of or the kids are exploring their house and they find some "secrets" about it. The image reminds me of a book cover of all the Nancy Drew books I used to read as a child. I feel like this image is interesting in both the way its shown and made. I think that this photograph is successful in getting out the message its supposed to get out.

The image takes place in a dated hallway. It includes three people, and two of them (the seemingly older ones) are climbing up a ladder. The younger girl is kneeling on the ground and looking into a small cabinet or door in the foreground of the image. She is also looking to the right of the camera. one of the older girls is already fifty percent into the ceiling by limbing the ladder, and the other older girl is starting her ascent up the ladder. In the hallway there are scissors on the floor with cut up pieces of hair littering the floor around it. The cut up hair leads directly to the ladder. There is a shadow along the first part of the wall on the left until it reaches the area of the ladder. Interestingly enough, there isn't a transition from light to dark near the shadow. It’s am abrupt line right where the ladder starts. The image also contains three blue subjects or aspects to it. The youngest girl is wearing a blue dress and kneeling on a blue rug. The rug leads to a wall which has a blue curtain. all of these shades of blue are the same color.
The image is in focus in the foreground. Was it progresses towards the background, where the ladder is located, it starts to get blurry. It isn’t distinctly blurry through, the viewer can still clearly see what is occurring in the background. The image seems to be properly exposed as well, through in some places it is kind of dark (nothing too noteworthy though).
The photographer took this picture on almost the same level as the younger girl’s head, though slightly higher. The photographer made the youngest girl the focal point. They seem to be wanting to draw some sort of attention to her, as they also blurred the background out slightly as well. The photographer additionally uses leading lines to perhaps draw the viewer to the background simultaneously. The bevel on the walls and the rug are used to do this. The image cuts off the rest of the hallway, but keeps everything that is occurring in view.
There is most definitely a story being told in this image. The girls could be potentially hiding from something. They could be hiding because of the cut hair in the hallway to evade trouble. The image is extremely thought provoking. It leaves the viewer wanting to know what is occurring and going on in the image. As you look closer at the image, more strange things show up. For instance, the odd lighting near the ladder, and the scissors lying in the hallway.
Overall I do enjoy the image. It makes me wonder what is really occurring inside of it, and because of that the image is successful. It makes me question why everything is a certain way inside the image. why is there a blue carper, dress, and curtain? Why are they climbing up a ladder and disappearing? Why is the girl opening a cupboard? What is she looking at? It’s very interesting and raises many questions.

in this picture it appears the family is running from something. the little girl is going into a cabinet in the wall and the other two girls are going into the attic. the little girl is wearing a blue dress with white ruffles and a black belt tied in a bow in the back. she has black heeled shoes on too. the older girl is maybe in her late 20s early 30s. she is wearing a light pink button up shirt with a red knee length skirt and black flats.
it appears they are running from something. this looks like its from a past time. they could be running from bombs, robbers, or maybe even family. it looks like someone got or was getting their hair cut. there is hair and scissors on the floor.
this photo was probably taken is a big f stop number and the sitter speed was quick. it looks like the three girls have done this before and are only a little scared. the girl in the red skirt is helping another girl into the attic. they younger girl looks like she sees maybe a person or something behind the camera.
the hallway is lined with an borders with a blue/teal rug running down it. it has curtains that match the rug covering the window. there is a brass clock on the right side wall and a light hanging off the left. there is a retractible ladder coming out of the attic.

This image is of a woman and two girls, presumably making the woman the mother. The colors are bright blue with a darker teal carpet and curtains on yellow and white walls with dark red on the woman and black an white on the second girl. The lines on the wall and the carpet help direct your eye throughout the image. The lighting consists of dark shadows and light areas. There are three people and they are all in a hallway of sorts, probably in a house. The girl in the foreground seems to be trying to hide or run away, one is climbing up into the attic dong the same except the woman is right beneath her probably about to try to get her down. I would say the image is a bit underexposed and the background is a little less focused than the foreground. The color is correct and it doesn't contain any pixelation. The rich colors make it pleasing to look at and the rule of thirds is being applied with the subjects in different corners. The point of view would be if someone initially walks in on this situation. The focal point varies but it is mainly the girl in the foreground and its an asymmetrical balanced image. The subject doesn't completely fill the frame and the positive space is the people and the negative is their surroundings. I think the general idea of the story is the struggle of childhood and a little bit of parenthood. The hair on the ground and the frightened expressions display this. The intention of the photograph was to express struggle and is quite interesting to look at. I enjoy it and the theme was brought across so it is successful.

In this image there is a young girl in the foreground and two other people own the background. This image is in color, and looks to have a artificial light source. By this i mean light that is not provided by the sun. The image is focused on the actions of the people. There is all different ways you can see this photo. To me it looks like one of women is trying to cut the girls hair, while she is trying to hide.

To me the image looks equally exposed, but has different spots of not enough light. The image looks focused on the foreground with a little blurry in the background. The color is right. And there is no pixelation from what i can see. I really like this photo. It has a story to find.

The image looks like it was taken at a little bit of a side angle looking downward. The lines on the wall bring your focus from the start to the end of the hall. The main focus are the people but the background bring the story. To me i think there is good spacing. If u were to take out some space you wouldn't see the whole picture of what is happening.

Like i said before a good image is one that shares a story. And this image has a story. The theme of the photo is the younger girl tying to hide from getting a hair cut. I like this image. Because of the situation of the photo, or what is going on in the photo. Its a successful photo, because of the story.

In this picture, there are three people, one is climbing into the attic, one is assisting the person who is climbing into the attic, and a little girl who seemed to be surprised about what she has found in a cabinet. The scene takes place in an old house, and most of the dresses that the people were wearing also looked old fashioned. Aqua and blue are the main colors i see when i look a this photo.
The image has a shallow focus, but not shallow enough to completely blur out the people in the attic. The main sources of light are coming from the lamp style lights located in the hall way, and over the shower.
Some of the ideas i see in this photo is old style, because of the dresses and the house style. I also see either suspense or surprise in this image, because the girl is either scared, or completely mind blanked of what is inside of the cabinet. I believe that there might be a story being told in this photo. This image really reminds me of horror movies, because most horror style movies are usually in a old style scene, and the kids are usually the ones that find out or get cursed by the horrors.
Overall, this photo really gets me excited about what is really happening to the girl. I am a large fan of stories and movies that have mysteries and suspense. the photo isn't spectacular because the light is not evenly exposed throughout the photo, but the thought behind it really makes the viewer think about what is really happening in this scene.

This picture features a small hallway with three people in-frame. One of the women in the foreground seems to be a younger girl crouched down by a possible secret hiding place or passage way. Just behind the little girl on the floor is a pair of scissors along with cut locks of hair. I can't tell whose hair it is however. A little further in the background you can see an older seeming woman, like a parent or guardian figure, helping someone else (another woman or girl) climb a ladder to an attic of some sort. One thing I also noticed about this picture is that the windows are draped completely as to not let anyone or anything see inside. The two faces that can be seen both show a look of mixed emotions. Emotions like fear, worry, anxiety, and the need to hurry.
As far as I can tell the image seems correctly exposed for the most part. However, there is a very noticeable vignette around the border and corners of the frame. The image is mostly in focus but the background has a very small amount of blur.. This would indicate that it was shot with a intermediate to wide f-stop number (medium to smaller aperture) which would create a deep-ish depth of field as seen in the picture. The picture is in full color. The whites in the picture can clearly be seen as such. The image has a high resolution which means that there is very very little to no pixelation.
The image was composed in a portrait orientation to fit the girl in the foreground and the scene in the background. Your eyes most likely go to the little girl in front as she is the one in focus in the foreground. The photographer did a job well done as far as transition of attention. What I mean by this is the photographer used the natural lines created by the hallway to shift your attention from the little girl in front to the scene happening in the back. The rule of thirds is also partially being used her as none of the women are directly centered in the photograph. The little girl in front takes up the bottom left corner while the woman escaping into the attic fills the top right corner. By filling these corners the photographer successfully uses the rule of thirds. The photographer makes the point of view from down the hall making this possibly a third person point of view of something happening.
I think this is a successful photograph because it got me to question and think about what exactly was happening in it. Are they running or hiding from something? Is someone or something chasing after them? If they are hiding from something or someone, why? It's questions like these that make up our curiosity. When a person gets curious they want to find out the answer, so they look for context clue within the picture. This is what makes it a successful photograph.

The image above shows a young girl looking in a small door, a mom apparently helping another daughter into an attic. We also see that the girl in the foreground has a dress that matches the rug and curtain at the end of the hallway. The color is a teal and I think they use it because it stands out and evokes a certain era along with the wall paper and clothing. It appears to be more of a studio set up because the hall lights can't be that bright and the light falls unnaturally on the characters. There is also hair and scissors on the floor, which doesn't make that much sense.

The image is correctly exposed because you are able to make out plenty of detail on the scene. Also, the image is in focus using a deep depth of field to capture the person in the foreground along with both people in the background. The colors are also correct with all of the colors looking like you would expect them to. Lastly, the resolution is good with no pixelation. This leads to a correctly taken photograph with no obvious errors.

The colors of the image do make the picture fun to look at but the small parts of it look surreal (the hair, the clothes, the open mouth of the girl that looks slightly surprised). The characters also appear to follow the rule of thirds, atleast laterally. The camera appears to be postioned at about chest hight. The focal point appears to be the girl in the front with the back providing a kind of secondary focal point. It is not framed by anything but the lines of the image direct your eye either towards the girl or back to the people in the background. The picture is not quite symmetrical (it appears to gaze slightly more to the left. There is not much blank space except for a little in the top left.

I think the there is a little bit of you're trying to solve a problem but you're way to confused to do so. I think there is some story but the artist made it super convoluted on purpose. The image does remind me of the old houses in the northeast with their wallpaper and narrow hallways. The image is beautiful with the colors that really stand out from other pictures. because of this I really do like the image though it really confuses me.

The image is showing a girl looking into a little doorway and a older women following another women up the ladder into the attic. the photographer uses the color red in this photo like the girl's hair, the women dress, the highlights in the wall paper, and the relish wooden floor. the lighting is focused and the people i the photo to highlight their faces and actions as well as draw the viewer's attention. the image includes the face of one person and the side view of the women and the legs of another. to me it looks like a girl is reeling against here family and cuts her hair as she goes into the attic to get away but her sister or mother wants to help so she follows her and then the little sister is afraid so she runs to her secret hiding place in the wall.

the image appears to be expose properly with highlights on the characters. The photo has a deep depth of field and a good portion of light so it was probably taken with a high aperture and shutter speed. The colors of the photo look like they should with no dimmed or over brightened whites. The photo also has adequate pixilation with no digitization.

To me the image is not pleasing to look at the multiple points of highlights draws my eyes everywhere making me unsure if what to look at. The rule of thirds is being applied with the face of the older girl being one of the focal points. The point of view of the photo is probably a person in the situation since the little girl agnologise the photographer. The focal point initially seems to be the little girl but the lines of the hallway’s lines draw the viewer's eyes further back. The image is asymmetrical since the right side has more going on and a sharper hallway line. The subjects fill the frame fairly well with little empty space. The negative space is in the top left corner of the photo with the positive in the top left and bottom of the photo.

I personally feel like they should be a story to the photo but i don't really understand what it is trying to say. The author tried to make a story out of this photo but i feel they failed since it is hard to understand and has to many focal points. The image reminds me of childhood conflict with people and parents. I don't find this image interesting or successful. To me this photo is just a photo that carries little meaning .

This image is of three girls. One is climbing into the attic. one is about to go w=up with her and the third is looking in the closet. You can see scissors and pieces of hair on the ground but you cant tell whose hair was cut. This photo uses a lot of blue in it. You can see the blue carpet, the blue dress, and the blue drapes. You can also see that the light is in focus on the girl in the blue skirt rather than the two climbing the ladder. The blue drapes seem to be hiding something that the picture wouldn't like us to se. The girl in the blue dress also seems to have seen something because she is looking into the camera and looks scared.
This picture seems to be showing us that something is going on with the girls because of the faces and what they are doing. It is not using the rule of thirds because the walls focus as the third and it seems to be wanting us to look at the girl in the blue dress up front. This picture seems to have been taken in the middle of the hallway and it uses the walls to point us where to go. This image has light on the girl in the blue dress but darker everywhere else. It seems to be in good pixelation and is color correct with the light. This picture fills most of the page and is only bare in two corners.
There does seem to be a story being told in this picture as it is very dark and questionable. You cant quite tell what is going on because so much is happening. The girls are spread out as one girl goes into the closet and two climb into the attic and there are scissors and hair on the ground. This picture reminds me of a horror story where the lights go on and you can tell what they are doing. It makes me question if magic is real and if unnatural beings do exist. I would not say this picture is beautiful but I would count it as noteworthy since you can’t tell what exactly is going on.
This is a very interesting photo and has a lot going on but i do not like it. There are so many different focal points you don't know what to look at and you cant connect the dots. I would also say that this photo was not successful because it doesn't really tell us anything. We can guess but so much is going on that you can focus in on one idea. This picture is very dark and has so much going on I would venture to say that it wasn't successful.

This image is using a lot of cool colors, teal, white, pinks. the image has dark shadows, no bright sunlight and it may be studio set. There are 3 people two of which you know are girls. Its set in a hall and it looks like they are hiding of trying to escape for something/one.

I think the image is underexposed, but by doing this it gave the photo more of a dark and scary feel and I think thats what the photographer was going for. The image is not in focus and there is pixilation. The only whites I se are on the socks of the person climbing up the ladder and those whites do look white.

The lines in this photo are horizontal and pointed dow the hall hating the girl in the blue dress and showing she is going in to a door in the wall. tenth lines point down to the girls climbing up the ladder.the negative space would be the wall here the girl in the blue dress is. You see the girl in the blue then your eye go to the girls climbing the ladder.

I think this photo is intriguing. it reminds me of he movie “The boy”, and how he was living in the walls and would come out to steal things. It was a slow but scary movie and I enjoyed it. This image also remindes me of when everyone would come over to my house on the weekends and we'd play hide and go seek. So I do like this photo and I think it was a successful photo.

This image is showing a 1 woman and 2 girls in a very narrow hallway trying to hide from something. The woman looks to be assisting a girl into the attic and the other girl looks to be going into a small door and looking down the other side of the hallway in terror. There is also scattered hair pieces and scissors on the ground randomly. The color usage in this photograph are very bright and eye catching. All of the dark shadows in the picture give it a scary or creepy look. All of the faces in this picture seem scared, terrified, and creeped out.

The picture seems a little overexposed seeing as it's a little dark along the walls of the narrow hallway and the image is in focus. The colors seem to be normal and generic and the picture seems to have no pixilation, adequate resolution.

For some reason it is quite interesting to look at because it's a mystery of what their running from, where they are, and why they are there. This image also follows the rule of thirds and it looks quite good. The point of view that we're seeing from is as we are the thing they are running from. There is three focus points in this image and the three woman are them. This image is basicly framed by the hallways of the building they are in. The lines in the floor direct you to the older woman helping what looks like her daughter up into the attic and three of them take up a good amount of space in the picture.

I feel as there is something very bad they are running from or scared of in this very moment. For some reason this picture reminds me of the holocaust where the Nazi’s went into the peoples house to try to find the Jews. This image is quite interesting and very eye catching for some reason. Honestly I like the picture and it is very exciting to look at seeing as it looks like they are in motion while in this picture. I feel that this photograph is very successful and eye appealing.

In the image there is a young, pale girl with a blend of orange and blonde hair in a blue dress who is opening a small door with a look of shock on her face. There is also a older girl in a maroon skirt with a salmon colored button down shirt. The older girl is begging to climb up a ladder, but is not able to begin due to someone else already climbing. The only part of the girl already climbing the ladder that is visible is her legs which are wearing high white socks with black dress shoes and a grey skirt. The ladder leads to a whole in the ceiling and provides a mystery in the image. On the floor also lies scissors and strands of blonde hair.
The picture with a deep depth of field as everything in the image is fairly clear. The image is very clear and seem to be properly exposed. The image is quite pleasing to look at as it has multiple parts that attract your eyes as you gradually look down the hallway. The photographer took the photo down a narrow hallway with a vertical perspective to use the lines leading down the hallway on the baseboards as a means to slowly draw the viewer's eyes from the younger girl to the older one. The photographer balances the image well by using the young girl off centered to the left and the older girl offcentered to the right with the rug in the hallway and the scissor in the middle.
The image could be telling a story of young girl who is disturbed by the horrors of the real world as she is having a revelation while looking through the small door in the hallway. The girl then is depicted growing up scared but eventually breaking her fear and adventuring into the world as she matures. This is depicted by the strands of hair which lead from the young girls short hair to the older girls long hair which is representing her maturing. The older girl is also now going up the ladder and venturing out of the confindines of the hallway as she breaks free from her concerns and insecurities. The artist could be presenting this with the intention of telling his or her own story of breaking away from a fear.
I enjoy this image for how it presets itself by proving mystery behind the door and ladder and not giving the viewer too much information. The image also provides many outcomes the viewer could think of giving it the ability to be re visited multiple times. The photo graph succeeds by providing a visually stimulating image with some possible backstory behind it. The image may not be noteworthy, but it is still quite beautiful and seems to acheive what the photographer was trying to achieve.
